Searching for trout stream/river

Hey guys. I dont know if this is ok to post, so if not let me know and I'll just take it down.

I'm just looking for a nice river or stream that has some decent trout in it I can keep. I'm just getting into fishing this year, and I'm trying to get my wife into it too. We love hiking in the mountains and I think having a river we can walk along and cast out to try for trout every 20 feet or so would be an awesome way to spend a day. I've been trying to find some rivers and streams to do this at, but it seems to be kinda difficult to find. Neither of us know how to fly fish, so were just looking for something we can throw a few spinners out with and try our luck on. Preferably closer to Edmonton, but if it's a real gem I dont mind travelling a bit.
