Default West Arm of Kootenay Lake

I've been told there is no fishing allowed in the west arm by a couple of people and the opposite by others, Trying to find out online is driving me crazy. Does anyone know for sure I am going there for 2 weeks in June. Any insight/advice would be highly appreciated
Thanx

Best thing to do is look up the BC non-tidal sportfishing regulations ..... anything short of that ..... and your just getting more opinions.

Don't believe anything you hear from BC residents and fishing regulations. I think their regs change so much they don't even know the regulations themselves. I've been told by several I can't use treble hooks in BC waters. Well guess what they are perfectly legal unless otherwise stated in lakes. So go figure, they don't even know the rules themselves. That's why its always a good idea to read through the general regs yearly and the lake specific regs every time before you go out! Not worth being fined for ignorance right.
