Default Duracoat .

Has any one had the 'duracoat " finish applied to the stock of their rifle ? It is a rubber type coating that takes some of the slipperiness off a synthetic stalk . How do you like it and who did the work ? Thanx ..

There's a paint out there called " make it stone" that with 5-6 lights coats of satin clear is very grippy. Incredibly durable as well. I've done some where I tape off the checkering with masking tape and replace it with a spray on rocker guard or even one of the box liner products. Very rubberized feel that does not slip around in the rain. Keep in mind heavily textured paints can add abit of weight. Tactical lever would be a good user to ask a few questions as well!

I have a few in the teflon coating, follow the directions and its strait forward.
If you have a autobody/ car painter friend for application tips it will improve the project quality.

I've seen some duracoat guns and they look great. There is a place out of st albert in Riel that does guns and sells the kit for spraying yourself.

This is one of the ones that "Yes Dear" did for me.

She's done a few for different people.
