I see most of the small ponds and lakes visible from the highway on my way to work are open. How are larger lakes doin as far as ice melt? Good to go for long weekend?
Was at Long Island Lake north an hour north of Edmonton to get my old mans cabin ready for the season. Still ice on the lake but should be gone with in a week. I see Monday Tues it's supposed to be nice. I can't see any ice being left on by the long weekend.
Some of the shoreline by our cabin was ice free.
Can't wait to do some fishing!!!!
