Default MBO Class vs MBR Class

Hey guys/gals,

Can someone tell me what the major equipment differences are between the MBO class and MBR class when it comes to 3D shooting? I have looked and can't quite seem to nail down what the main differences are. Also do these differences carry over to target archery or do they have their own classification? I am going to do the research but just interested in getting a starting point.

MBO you can move your pins while you shoot the course. MBR you can't move your pins while your shooting, if I'm not mistaken

MBO (CU) compound unlimited
Any lens
Move your sight in any way you want after the first shot of competition

MBR (CFP) compound fixed pins
No lens allowed
Multi-pin sight
CANNOT move your sight up/down/left/right after first shot of competition

Hunter Class (if offered) different equipment rules again.
Less than 12" stabilizer
Side/back bar may or may not be allowed
Glue in tips (target arrows) not allowed
Sight may be limited to the number of pins

Those are the main differences. Yes they somewhat carry over. Look up the rule books on the Archery Canada website.

That's awesome! Thanks, that is more or less what I understood but my confusion came in when I associated some of the rules of the Hunter class as pertaining to the MBR class! This is a great explanation and I knew you guys would be able to give me the black and white answer.

Thanks
