Default Fishing in Saskatchewan...

24 KM of dirt/sand/ sparsely gravelled road, after a heavy 2 day rain, = 300 lbs of mud on the boat, took 2 hours to get it back to almost clean.

The truck was crying too

but I found out there are fish in Saskatchewan!

The road was gross, boat tried to pass me a few times.

Honestly, I am glad that I have so many friends that like fish, because I just can not figure out how to cook rainbows. I am scared to mess this one up, like the little ones from Dilberry, that were just mush.

I gave this fella to a buddy, told him I wanted a bite when it is cooked.

Thats a beauty nice RAinbow there Ken . Fish is easy to cook a little Lemon Garlic and butter and stick it in a pan or tinfoil and on the BBQ hard to beat that . Dont need all that deep fried nastyness , ( THIS COMING FROM A FAT GUY ) I like fish cooked as fish not battered . I like pike the same way , but baked in the oven YUM .

Have seen mud flaps for trucks that are made for pulling trailers, cover whole back of truck. They are removeable too if your not pulling a trailer. Might be a thought if your pulling a boat with a dually. Protect the boat from rocks, just look what they do to windshields on the hiway. Mabe a skirt around the front of the boat, not perty but protects the boat.

Very nice trout, secret about cooking fish dont tell no one ok, DONT over cook. A lot of people over cook it. As soon as the meat starts to become flakey and easy to break apart with a fork, its done remove from heat emediatly.
