Probably not.

I would take a few pictures of it, let it be. Not that hard up to drop a moose.

I'm with Nester. Not that hard up for meat. They are unique, and the older I get, I appreciate animals as much as I like to harvest them. Just my 2 cents. Each to his own.

Default White Moose

On my first safari way back in 1977 the PH was telling me of a client of his (one of the wealthiest Europeans) killed a white kudu. All of the trackers and skinners etc. were horrified. He said that they went back to camp .. had supper and when they went to bed they teased him by saying their 'final goodbyes' to him.

The chap died in his sleep.

I told him that they must have scared the poor guy to death .. He said that he was not superstitious himself, but he would not shoot a white kudu.

I would not let the fact that a fine Bull Moose is white from stopping me. Such an animal has the same right to become free of the harsh and cruel world by the most humane way as any other legal animal!

Yes, would kill.

. BC has a provision for this situation, in my opinion that's a great thing to do.

Bang!
Where we hunt moose we are lucky to fill half our tags, if I came back to camp with the story it was so pretty I couldn't pull the trigger my mancard would be burnt in the campfire.

Maybe we should stop killing cows because people in India think they are sacred....NOT!
I'd put a bullet in it if I was hunting moose.

At behest of local band of Status Indians, that request was posted. It is a request, not a mandate. Politically motivated posturing only, not illegal to kill white moose. No BC law in place on such.

White moose? They are all the same colour on the inside. I would shoot one but I wouldn't broadcast it far and wide.

Default White Bufalo

I thought white Buffalo were supposed to be rare? John Scott near Longview has at least 4 white ones in his herd. Bulls, cows and at least one white calf.

I've seen a white deer, white moose in the wild and a white elk in captivity. When I was young my dad told me that a elder Indian told him if you see all three it's the beginning of the apocalypse.
