Default Where did my bears go?

I have had a bait for 4 years now and always had 5-9 different bears there every year and many yearly repeat offenders. Some since cubs with a sow. I fill cans 3-4 times a week and May 18 was the last time I had a bear visit. Not even the young more frequent bears. In the past I have never gone more the 2-3 days without a bears. Now they just vanished. It's like they all died. I have not seen any other hunters out there and work and hunt in the area so I am out there alot. Has this happened to anyone else before?? Even if another bait was close I know they would still come by once and awhile. Could something have been done to screw me up in the immediate area?? It's a shame cause I was hoping to arrow one of these two guys. The month on the second pic is wrong date it was taken in Apr not may.

I had 8 to 13 bears daily at my bait and now it went dead with only one bear their in 5 days .I think it has to do with other foods around now that everything has greened up .

Same with me,My bait was hot the first 2 weeks of may now nothing.I figured it was because I have a wolverine hanging out at my bait.I quit using meat and beavers now and just using oats in hoping the wolverine will leave the area

How much bait are you guys putting out? I always baited daily and then only 5 gal Pail full. Dont give them the option of gorging themselves, make it competitive.

My bait has quieted too. Have seen it before. Lots of clover and dandelions so they are more sel sufficient. Baits will get hot again a rut starts to peek but may be to late for some as season ends Thursday in some areas
