Of course it matters, I applied for my moose. Haven't had a draw in 11 years.
But I don't sit up nights like a little kid a christmas to see if I got it. When the 12th comes around I will check, if I get it I will make my plans then. Plans can be made and getting permision ahead of time should you get drawn isn't too hard.

Default Xmas

Hey Guys

It matters not --tomorrow we all know -- Its just like xmas --the excitement no matter how old we are -- maybe some of us like to dream and hope -- but that is all about where we are in the sport --what one man or woman does is different than anothers -- -different levels -none wrong none right -- just different

me Ill find out as soon as I tun on the computer before I leave for work -- tomorrow Ill be drooling over wild Tv the wife got me yesterday

Hunt - hard always -always ethical
Shoot straight -Tread Softly

Cheers

Ian

Its like buying up 1000 bucks worth of lotto tickets where the 50mil is drawn friday, and going ahh whats the point of checkin friday no big deal I get it I get it if not I dont. Ill check it next week or a couple weeks from now. Me I know I dont have a chance at anything, Maybe a doe draw but thats it. I am, or was really excited and couldnt wait till I found out about the fire. Yea its a doe tag but thats not the point. What if you pulled your goat PG??? sure chances are pretty slim BUT if you did

UPDATE-2012 Hunting Draw Results!
Due to an explosion and power failure, the draw results on albertarelm.com may not be available on July 12, 2012 as scheduled.

Default Shaw

The Shaw headquarters in Calgary had to be evacuated today due to an electrical fire. 911, 311 internet, cable and phone from them has been effected. The city Emergency Operations Center is now running 24/7 as is that of the province to deal with it as well as the Zama fire and at least another half dozen minor events going on in the province. Why could it have not waited a day. I just had a beer with an ADM from the province who is on his way back to the office to deal with all this stuff.

I did! Almost started crying! Lol! Jk, I don't cry! But I did get the email! Exactly 6 hours and 15 minutes after I received the email about them being available online tomorrow, and that the draw results will no longer be mailed out!

See the other threads about the fire at Shaw, which damaged equipment. The building also houses IBM who administrate the draws under contract. Emails were sent out about the incident.
