First revolver purchase - recommend a good pistol case
I've just ordered a pair of 7.5" Rugers, a single six and a blackhawk. Both revolvers are a tad over 13" long and are coming in plastic factory cases. I'm quite certain I want something more secure to store and transport them in. It would be nice to have them both in the same case. Interior dimensions would need to be at least 15" by 11 1/2".
Any good recommendations? Thanks in advance.
Colin

I bought a really well padded case at Cabelas. Lots of room for my 71/2” Redhawk 44 mag and my single ten

That is the one I have used for the past 9 years. It has a lip around the front with holes where one can insert padlocks if you wish.
So you have a choice which way you want to lock it, or both if you desire.

Check out Underwater Kinetics in Edmonton. They make all sorts of quality cases similar to Pelican? They have an advertisement on the AO header page just left of Vortex where Sako cartridges flashes...Engel coolers and gun cases. I have a couple of their cases for my fishing gear and spotting scope- good stuff.
UK Products is their name.

Revolver case...
I have used these cases and they work well and are durable. This size would work well for your two revolvers. They often go on sale for 50% off.

Thanks for all the input gang. I went ahead and ordered the Nanuk case from prophet. I was looking at one on Amazon and was impressed by it, but I'd rather give my dough to the boys and girls in Lloyd.
I'll do up a review of the shootin' irons when they arrive. Might be time for me to finally figure out how to post pics again.

I have this Seahorse case that fits 4 pistols. It seemed to be a brief brand offering at wherever I got it, which I'm a bit hazy recalling anyways.
I have seen some of the Nanuk cases at Calgary Shooting Centre, at previous Easter Show weekends they had a Nanuk rep on site and special pricing. The ones with the fitted interiors looked really nice, ones for a single or two pistols, longer ones cut for an AR-15 and a pistol.

These are great for pistols but will not work with revolvers

I did look at a vertical stacked 3 gun revolver case they offered. Foam was cut to hold the barrels but the grips and frames were loose.
These are big guns. I'm confident the Nanuk case that Clay (or whoever his online minion is) directed me to will be great. There should be a minimum of 2 inches of foam around every piece of the guns.
I'm going through a single action wheel gun phase. When I get to 1911's something like that would be sweet.
