alberta CFO closed

why is the Alberta CFO closed so much recently.
I had to contact them about a transfer and an ATT. took me days to get through.
i emailed them the info they requested, didnt hear anything back so i tried to call them today and they are closed again...

anyone else having problems with them?

I think they are usually closed on Wednesday .

It's a government office, they're open from 0900 until 1100, then closed for morning recess. They'll then open from 1130 until 1230, then closed for lunch. They're then open from 1330 until 1530, then closed for afternoon recess. Lastly they're open from 1600 until 1700 before closing for the day.

Last I heard they're all trying to trade their sandwiches with one of the other CFOs because their mommy put Oreos and those neato Kraft Snack Packs in a lunch kits. That explains the extended "closed" period.

I had a problem with my license renewal a few months ago and when I spoke with the nice lady at the AB CFO, she informed me that they were short-staffed, and everything was taking a little longer than normal.

Yep, closed every Wednesday.

But when I got through on Thurs, they were great to deal with and had my ATT emailed to me 2 minutes after getting off the phone.

seems to be that they are closed the majority of the time.
spent over an hour on hold a few times in the last week or two. only managed to actually get through once.

and my email has got no reply either..
