Default recommendations for a new tent?

After last summer's "monsoon in our tent" episode we're looking for a new tent suitable for car camping with the whole family. I suggested getting a frame for my wall tent and using it but my wife doesn't want to take the hunting tent camping. Something about it looking too "redneck".

We need something that can handle 4 oversized cots, up to 4 dogs and our gear. A 3 season would be fine but it needs a full length fly. We'd also consider going with 2 smaller tents if the cost was comparable to one larger tent.

Any recommendations?

I think if you look at the Cabelas Guide tents in an 8 man you will be really happy.

You REALLY must love your dogs

Check out Eureka N!ergy tents or Coleman tents. They have interior lights that run from a battery pack that is rechargeable from your vehicle.
