Gull - Feb 17, 2016

Tent not required! One of the better days this season for us. Started north of Sandy in 11fow. White bite switch was flicked from 9 to 11. Iced 6 missed/marked a few more. Moved to Aspen/Brownlows into 16fow and found some Perch with the odd small I. 18" to 20" of good ice and easy to get around with a decent 4X.

Wait...what lake? Can't be Gull. According to "reliable" sources, the whites have disappeared. You sure those are not from Sylvan?

was it a slow day or getting a little better then the previous weeks?

Spent a couple hrs on Sandy point this am in 8Fow.... Lots of whites on the camera but water was so murky, couldn't see your lure 4ft under the ice.... Really tough fishing this am out there.....
