Default Gull Lake Report

Just got back from Gull Lake where we fished basically 500 YDS WEST of the bridge near meridian. The snow was a bugger and with the floodwater underneath made it very hard to navigate thru.If you don't stick to the shoreline you better have 4x4 or you will get stuck. Our buddy pulled a vehichle half a mile to the edge to where they could get going again. We had no luck at all today and we moved 4 times. We were there from 8 to 430 and all we saw was 1 whitefish get caught.WE were out for pike but tried a variety of presentations for perch or whites with no luck.Hope others had better luck than we did.Was happy to see a group of conservation officers out there. They stopped in and checked our group out and they were very polite and helpful.Good luck out there and be careful.

Caught my limit of whitefish yesterday around sandy point. Good bites all around. Lots of pike, walleye, and whitefish. Was also checked by F&W and he was surprised I got my limit as people were saying that fishing was slow at the lake in general. Lots of perch at browlows, didnt keep much as I was only hooking up small ones. Biggest was around inches.

When you click on a picture you should have 4 links under Share This Photo. Try the labelled IMG. If you click it, it automatically copies the link to the clipboard for you. Then you paste it in a new post/reply - paste is Ctrl+V or right click and select paste.

If photobucket gives you grief in general you could try something like TinyPic.

Default made me chuckle

I will say sorry right at the beginning of my post........I know tad off topic... forgive me

but when I saw the title of this thread it took me instantly to the story my mom told me about my "conception"

I was born in Calgary coming up 52 years ago this March and as the story goes my parents were camping at "Gull Lake" enjoying the outdoors in a different way...................

I wonder if that is why I am such an outdoors woman................
