Wow! Garland's face looks awesome!! What a great kid, to get hit like that and still play after getting stitched up, and playing tonight too. Kudos to him, really respect that grit and heart.

As much as I think he should have made it over Draisaitl, I am happy he will be getting a 5 day rest before a playoff run. Something Draisaitl doesn't have to worry about.
Nice pass by Johnny there to set up the second goal.. Decent period. Smith looked shaky as usual, lucky to have not had one go in.

Good point about Gio resting up....but still sucks he didn't get the recognition he deserves. And yes, that was a great feed from Johnny to Mon.

I almost hope Smith let's a few weak ones in but they still win. We don't need him getting a SO and then starting next game besause he's playing so "well".

Well, there is the pp goal for AZ...period 2 over, and 4-1 Flames. Maybe they can score a couple more in third? 6-1 final? Maybe...

They still have to play the games, but "Outside of the Canucks, the Flames have the softest remaining schedule in the West".
TSN
I'd rather VGK and SJ play eachother than Calgary meeting them in the first round.

I don't know if I would say it is a soft schedule. A few of these teams play the trap pretty well and if we take them lightly it could end up biting us in the butt. With the way things have been going, I can see how everyone thinks these are easy points, but they do have the potential to get away from us.
