Late season moose
I was sitting for a cranker whitetail this morning and had a full freezer at 10 yards, easy decision! Arrow went in right behind shoulder and must have struck a rib, went through one lung and came out further back on the opposite side. The weird part is my arrow was sticking out the off side with no broadhead on it. I looked and it didn't break off, , insert still attached, no clue how that happened. Three harvests with the bow this year in my second full season of bowhunting, pretty happy!

Congrats can you take a closer picture of your fletching if you have a left offset that could explain the broadhead unscrewing.

Stuck it out with the bow into the general season. Been quite a while since I've taken a whitetail with the bow. Picky over the years and just busy chasing other critters during the archery season. Took him on Nov. 23rd 25mins before dark.
