I didnt personally use them, but a girl in our group did. This was a few weeks ago mind, before the new restrictions

14”at Lower Chain by Athabasca. Some full size pickups out there. I used my SXS
Got a couple nice rainbow and one tiger but lost it at the top of the hole.

I was out at Spray near Sparrowhawk yesterday, where I drilled holes the ice was 6" or 7".

Fished all day yesterday out front of the resort area. 7-10” was average. Walked out. No way I’d drive on that. Fishing was awful.

Wabamun has 12-14” of good ice 300yrds off shore from sailing club. No one appears to be driving on at the town yet. Fishing was slow for us but nice day out.

Pigeon lake
I drove out to the middle today from Mulhurst.Crossed 2 heaves that are starting to form basically 1mile south of Sandholm.Ice was 15/16" in all the holes i drilled.Ton of groaning and cracking out there.

Sturgeon is good. The huts are out at the grassy island already. PM me a day or two before you plan to go out and I can get you an accurate number.

Be careful everyone. Ice and air temp has been odd this year. Big snow tomorrow will slow ice growth and hid holes and thin spots.
