I think the players gave up on that game as soon as Peters announced that Smith was starting.

Had James Neal in my pool just waiting for the real Neal to show up, and nadda. So I dropped him and picked someone else up, so that being said look for James Neal to now start lighting it up. Your welcome fellow Flames Fans. HAHA

On the bright side, when was the last time an Alberta team led a division at the Christmas break?

Dear Santa..

I know I am on the Nice list this year (Unlike those heathen fans to the north) If you wouldn't mind I would like to request 2 gifts this year..

For the love of little baby Jesus and all that is holy please trade Mike Smith. Perhaps the Oilers need him?

Could you please send James Neal to the Howie Meeker hockey school. I believe the confidence boost from such a man would help.

That is all I could ever ask.

Safe travels tonight.
Jamie

PS. I would like to thank you for the early gift of letting the fans to the north THINK they have a team this year. That 10 game run with the new coach was just enough to make them forget what a dumpster fire of a team they actually have. I am sure the streets will be filled with the sounds of breaking hearts as reality sets in. With all that red and white you like to wear, we all know your a Flames fan and probably enjoy the Stamps and the Stampede as much as we all do. ;-)

GAME DAY!!!! Just hope the long day with a 5:30am flight and morning skate we are not tired, on top of the turkey legs.
Holidays are over Flames, time to get back to winning and staying on top.
GO FLAME GO!!!!

Need to set up a second TV, why would they schedule the Flames game at the exact same start time as Team Canada in the Juniors.
GO CANADA GO!!!!

I'm sure the Flames schedule was set well before the Junior's schedule was set.

Game on! And Neal gets the stretch pass, goes in...Buff takes him down! Penalty! Good thing, because Neal wasn't going to score anyway....

Go Flames Go!

The guy has been working hard enough to get the chances, can only hope it starts to pay off for him. Would be huge for us. Big save Dave is playing well so far.

Big Save Dave....man I love when he is in net! Solid, dependable, no drama, and gives them a chance to win every game!

Just getting in, hope it’s a good effort, for a full 60.

Flames giving the Jets too much Zone time, but still a good effort. Legs moving, good battles...need to get to the net more and put pressure on jets this next period.

Hellibuck should have been pulled by the Concussion spotter.. I wish I knew the guidelines for being pulled. That was a heck of a shot to the head.
