Smoke and mirrors. Updating Biden’s wins but not the “close “ remaining races.
The Don will come on strong now as he takes Florida , Georgia and Texas.

I say Don wins by 15 electoral votes. But is 1.5% behind in popular vote.

Biden’s drive in was so staged. Did you guys notice all the vehicles were brand new Jeeps. All red white and blue with the tops off

Yup, and he was quite bold to state he was going to win. From what I see, his words won’t age well.

Every election I’ve voted in starts out republicans leading then once they call California the democrats take off. After that it’s catch up with traditional conservative strong holds and the swing states decide the election. That’s why they spend so much time campaigning in certain states and zero in others. Now if there is no incumbent then they will spread it out a bit more but still focus on those states that always go close. As several celebrity types have said, don’t celebrate to early and hold off until every vote is counted. Most likely won’t know for a couple days. Oh and depending which news you watch will determine what reports your getting. I’m following5 different trackers and they all show something different. Surprisingly Fox News is not totally stacked for the republicans, it is more in the middle.

It’s a pretty tight race to the finish! Sure not the landslide the dems predicted.....again.

That was pretty hokey, and not remotely obvious whatsoever!

Biden wants to shut down the Keystone Pipeline. I’m thinking that wouldn’t be good for Alberta.

A point I was making with my wife who is appalled that I'm hoping for a Biden loss. That pipeline project has been a political yo-yo, Obama had vetoed it previously. Being that we taxpayers now own it, and it will be an economic boon to Alberta, I cannot hope for its demise. That being said, I'm not a citizen of the USA so I'm not going to get bent out of shape about it one way or another because I'm just an observer from the sidelines.

Taxpayers own that pipeline too? You’re not confusing it with the Trans Mountain to BC that Justin bought, are you?

Life is hard enough for the West with Justin wanting to phase us out, we don’t need Biden hurting us too.

I believe government of Alberta is part owner of this pipeline. Feds have full ownership of trans mountain, but will likely sell it for a loss to First Nations groups eventually.

Anyways, back to the thread purpose, I can’t help but notice cnn trying their hardest to show how Biden can still possibly win by going through every possible scenario but they are picking states that are clearly trump wins

I was trying to point out how one candidate’s policies would be harmful to Canada over the other candidate’s policies. I’m Canadian and policies that are harmful to Canada is what I’m concerned about. Voting based on a candidate’s charisma, personality, socks, etc and not his policies is the epitome of a low information voter.

Dam Dave.....these jerks change like a fart in the wind...daily.....hourly.....can't keep even keel because they have something brewing...underlying....and when it surfaces if you drink too quick the koolaid you get ill...upset....demoralized....

The yanks involved now as leaders as with our puts have no interest in Canada as a complete country....we are just a card in the deck....played upon when needed....

Seemed like you are pretty much in Trumps corner.

How many jobs and how long will they be here
In ALBERTA because trump gets in?

Better question is. Since Trump and Kenny have been in power, and they seem to be gods here....how many of our jobs have come back?

Anybody??

Or is our problem still the feds?

Blame game is Alberta's new MO.

I have a close friend who is a journeyman welder who has worked twice since march.

A neighbor who is an electrician who has not worked since February...

They voted thier future on Kenny and his PROMISES on jobs.

He has not delivered.

Yet he has and continues to blame someone and a completely other jurisdiction for our problems.

He is crying and blaming someone else.

He had fell on his face so far on all accounts around jobs.

I’m hoping for a Trump win because that’s what is best for Canada. Biden campaigned on shutting down the A2A railway, something that Justin killed on his own, and killing the Keystone Pipeline. Justin is doing his best to kill Alberta’s economy, we don’t need our largest trading partner doing the same. Who’s side are you on?

And you want Biden to win so it’ll make things even harder for Albertans. Makes sense to me.

This thread had nothing to do with Provincial politics. It’s a US election.

I want an outcome that’s best for Canada. Killing the Keystone Pipeline is not good for Canada. There are other harmful policies but one candidate is less harmful to us than the other.

I worry about Canada.......It’s as simple as that.

This will go to the Supreme Court...depending on how they rule with mail in voting it could go either way. Trump way ahead before they decided to take a break from counting. Which gives perception of corruption, and doubt there is any but a well known expression, perception is enough. This is going to be a gong show of a month...at least.

AB produces 3,000,000bbl/d. At a very minor bump of $1/bbl that is $1.1 billion per year!
