They didn't blow a 2-0 lead! They were always down 2....

I just wanted to see LUC light a spark possibly

Yeah blowing that lead sucked. But putting one more point inbetween is and the Flames. Priceless !!!!

Who gives a sweet crap WHAT this team does in Regular season?

Look what happened last year in 1st round.

No other team in history of NHL has more 1st round beatdowns on their record than the Flames.

Worst playoff team in History of NHL!!!!

Still a fan though....lol!

Vegas tomorrow and they are not playing their best hockey. So do we take advantage of that, or continue to get shutout or maybe post 1 goal? Watch we will be their rebound game.

Crazy as it is that Oiler fans be talking about last year's playoffs. Did anyone catch the end of the Nucks / Avs game last night? McKinnon in 30 seconds just goes end to end so fast, the Nucks I think were just standing back watching, while he rips one in. Poof over. Reminded me of last years playoffs. Also the McKinnon that wasn't there in Edmonton the other night.

Oh he was there for the first couple minutes. Then he got his bell rung by Kas. What a hit !!!! Tough for McKinnon to produce when he’s looking through all those tweety birds and stars 🥴

I’m thinking Vegas is just what the Flames need to get back in the win column. If the Blackhawks and Kings can beat em then so should the Flames.

Oh I’m fine with it. But Ouch !!! That stings. I don’t want the Flames to ever do better than the oilers. I sure would like to play Calgary in the first round though. Let’s hope they can get it together and nail down that wild card spot 😏

Oh Backlund, has a breakaway and fires it right at MAF, dude barely had to move, if he did at all.

Gotta love Stone though, reaches for the puck with his hand and then is completely dumbfounded that he got hit with a stick.

Watching an AT&T feed, said the 1st has been Vegas' best period and the 3rd their worst, said the 1st has been Calgary's worst period with the 3rd being their best. Hopefully it gets better for us going forward.

Well here we are again, game day. What will we see tonight? Avs are dinged up and should take advantage of it, but McKinnon man can just turn it up when he wants, so who knows. Should be a good time to put a few in the net with them down to back up, but will we ? Who knows. Hitting the road again so would be nice to hit that on a higher note, than what we got going on now. I like Tkachuk being honest on mood around the team, instead of Geo being all correct.

Here's a hint from an Oiler fan on how to deal with Mckinnon. Hit him hard on his first shift, and he won't concentrate on the puck the rest of the game.

Do you guys have anyone that can hit hard? Not dirty just a hard hockey hit that knocks him on his ass.

BW

Bennett. When he wants to, he can really take the body. I'll send the memo.

I'm going to watch the game, at least for 5 minutes....if it goes like Vegas, I'm listening to jazz and reading a western. Got no time to invest in another half assed efffort. Flames need to shape up, they get paid to play hockey.

Apparently the lines have been changed, drastically:

Johhny-Backlund-Lindholm
Mangiapane-Monahan-Chucky
Lucic-Ryan-Dube
Rinaldo-Jankowski-Frolik

Gio-Andersson
Hanifin-Stone
Kylington-Davidson

Hopefully Peters can leave them alone for 10 minutes before going back to what hasn't worked lately. Could be interesting with the Rinaldo/Colorado history, but that's a long time to hold a grudge. Curious to see what he brings, a fast version of Lucic perhaps?

Bennett can crush players when he wants for sure. I'm sure that's who BW was referring to. Unfortunate he is hurt at the moment.
I guess Johnny will have to step up and do it.

Lucic has worked his way up to 3rd line status, LOL.
When Lucic is on your 3rd line, you know you’re in trouble.

Figured I would try and change up the Flames Mojo and not watch the game, instead hot up an AJHl game.
I see after the first period we seem to be leading in every stat except the score. Ugh figures.
Glad to see Avs got their goalie back in time to play us.

How many time has it happened this season, where we have tones of pressure in other teams end, only for puck to bounce over a stick and it's a breakaway, or an odd man rush and they score. We have no puck luck right now.

They were saying the teams shooting percentage is 3% over the last 7 games or some such.
