Montreal has most of its team back, a new coach who has the team at 8 and 1 since he came in, and went deeper than expected last year. And they are starting to play like it again. Too little to late though.

Oilers should be hungrier than Montreal for wins. Fighting for the playoffs and all. Montreal should just tank for picks.

We need to get a better start and come out HOT.
We need to give our goalies a chance.
We need to play 60 minutes.
It's gut-check time
We can't pull any punches
We need to get on the same page
Goals are not deserved, goals are made
We have to clog up the front of the net
We need to shoot more
Play one game at a time, never mind the media
Did I miss any excuses we are going the hear before the BOA ??

About the only thing good about last night was the tribute to the situation in the Ukraine. We were on the same page on this one.

Has Smith played his last game as an Oiler? I was hoping he'd play one more, that being tomorrow, but it kinda feels like he's done.

That's too bad. I was thinking he needed just one more opportunity to find his game.

My brother texted me to see if I wanted to wager a Blizzard. I texted back "Are you sure, sounds like RNH, Puljujarvi, Barrie, and Russell are out and Yamamoto, Kassian, and Bouchard could be out". He hasn't gotten back to me.

Bessie is OK. He and I chatted last night during game. He threw the gauntlet down, we did our traditional bet, and this time it went the right way.
He squared up like the gentleman he is.
As far as being on AO goes, he is taking a bit of a break right now.

As a flames fan I am certainly enjoying this season. Oilers are back to their pre Woodcroft funk...and they seem to have zero backbone or support for each other...Lucic gives a second hard slash to Koskinen after the whistle and all he gets is the stink eye from Keith? , then he hammers a rookie Broberg in the back and nobody says or does anything? I mean it was 3-1 game over someone should go out on their shield.

Lol I always likes the sutter team backbone style. Wish he was behind the Edmonton bench. Hopefully woodcroft figures it out
