Flames perspective I guess. Just too bad a couple of familiar names from the past weren't here so we could witness heads explode.

Evander Kane. Terrible roster addition. Hehe

Leading the playoffs in goals.....finally found a winger that can play with McJesus. Fingers crossed he's here next year

Don't forget Nuge. Underrated player, big part of the team

The 4 of them together add up to "half as nice as "Dallas Behind Bench Girl."

And if one of them was my daughter I would so ground her for life.

It’s more likely he was saying that to motivate them.
If you watched anything of the Flames you can’t believe that was them showing up. Sutter also says the young d core looks inexperienced and awestruck. He just says stuff like that in media for the mind games.
They fought hard to backcheck, create space, and stick with a game plan against Dallas. They looked like they weren’t committed to compete to that level against the oilers. Guys getting behind D for breakaways. Not racing to puck battles. Throwing passes into the middle of the ice when 3 players converge on 1 instead of chipping it past the 3 and working for it. There were glimpses of the way they played most of the year in the last two games but you can’t get into that kind of hole and depend on everything to go your way.
That was nowhere near the best hockey the Flames play nor was it close to their average level of attention to detail over the course of the season. Oilers are playing their best hockey when it matters. That’s what it’s all about.

Dallas has gotta be shaking their heads thinking they would’ve made more of a series out of it.
St Louis and Colorado will both be better than Calgary

Wink

Coleman got a job with the stampeders as a punter.....kicking under pressure is a talent.

Mike smith had more points in this series than lucic. Money well spent by the oilers to have lucic play against them.

People are talking about the kick in goal not being allowed what about the empty net miss by was it Gaudreau? When smith passed him the puck and he hit the post on an empty net.
Very similar to the one Hopkins buried game 4

Mark my words; if it is not already happening in other arenas, those display girls behind the bench, is going become a regular thing...

It won't be long before a thread begins and a scoring system is created.....hahahaha

Stay tuned..

Tough to lose from a bad call back on a goal but the Oilers were the better team this series.

They are moving on but Flames had an entertaining year. Just couldn’t play their top games.
