Jamie and chadyaz are real good sports.
Hope the flames can show up on the last game they have vs oilers.
Tough schedule ahead for oil on path to playoffs.

Jeez, you're not kidding. I just checked the schedule and we're in tough down the stretch.

Start of the season I had calculated 53-54 points for playoffs. If that works out we still need to find 7-8 wins somewhere in these last 12 games.

We should be able to pull at least a couple wins between the Coyotes, Flames, and Avalanche. That'll mean some big wins still needed against the heavy hitters..

Gonna be hard for Harvey the hound and the super fans adjust to the rebuild, be easier when feaster admits that's what's happening.

The Oilers win 8-2 and grab a playoff spot.

Oh, and I noticed a certain amount of Leaf gayness on the thread.

Not going to happen, because they'd have to beat Red Deer first.

Just curious where the Taylor hall naysayers are btw? Haven't heard from them in a bit. Until the flaming c's can stop that top line they aren't gonna have a chance, at this point they have no answer for those 1st rounders.

Bergeron has a concussion. Without him, the B's don't have a chance unfortunately. Hopefully he's not gone for too long

Now if Feaster was smart he would be stocking up on 2015 1st round draft picks.

But after all he was the mastermind of the O'Reilly offer sheet, so probably not.
Good luck with the rebuild calgary

Default Woo hoo!

Wow 8-2. Way to kick em when they are down. Yikes!

I can't count the number of lunches, beers and the odd bit of cash I have payed out in the last few years betting on Oilers/Flames games.

Boys thank-you for holding up your end of the bargain.

My Oilers are still in tough to make the playoff and will be knocking of the door. Can't hope for more then that! I'm going to enjoy the ride for the rest of the season. And hope Tambo et al can make a couple moves to keep movi g the team in the right direction.

Flames fans. Hang on I hope you brought some reading
material your in for a long ( like 4-5 year long) ride.

Flames Sign Goaltender Laurent Brossoit of the Oil Kings and recalled defenceman Brett Carson from the Abbotsford Heat.

Defencemen Derek Smith out with injury and Mark Giordano will not travel with the team as his wife is due to give birth.

Hard to believe that scrap in last nights game was the first fight in the last 8 games played between the teams. I remember Edmonton having a line of Semenko, Mcsorely, Mcclelland vs. Calgary's line of Hunter, Peplinski, Otto. They didn't like eachother, the score was usually 8-7 and there was 100+ penalty minutes every game. Good stuff...

Messier and Otto, still hate each other, have a poster someplace of Semenko, no jersey, no pads, challenging the entire Calgary bench, they were all busy doing up their skates, taping their sticks etc. LOL...

Good game by nucks tonight. Finally shut down the skill line...bad for my pool good for my team. Schneider looks in the zone. Derek Roy was unreal on our 2nd line...can not say enough good things about how he played!! Watch out playoffs
