Wasn't it last season or the one before, the Oilers thread was shut down eventually..LOL.
They just can't behave themselves...Some of them...Bessie is cool and a blast though.

Tanev skating this am. But didn’t Gio skate as well as pregame skate then was out for rest of series and didn’t play a minute. I hope this series goes 7 because anything less will not make up for 31 yrs of crap since we last played. There hasn’t been a battle of alberta for so long. But can we rekindle

I hope it goes 5 with Calgary winning the final game at home. Probably a bit optimistic, that's what I put in my bracket though.

Just viewed to see where u were in standings. Stay down there 😆. I think i did flames in 6 and thought i was being optimistic lol.

Majority of reasons included Markstrom vs Smith, Sutter vs Woodcroft, and Draisaitl hobbling around.

This series result will be based on special teams me thinks. We are a great 5 on 5 team but our PP based on last series was 2/24. Won’t cut it. On the other side if we can keep Oilers at 20% or less on PP then i really like our chances

ps.... injured Drai will be the decider....
now.... if Kane can really turn it up... and Nuge could produce.... they could possibly offset an injured drai.
I'm turtles and floor hockey are wishy washy brains..... if they hide under a pile of coats like they sometimes do..... I'lln be sippin victory in 4.
really good time to sell whatever Smith's been using to stay reanimated....
mebe Manson has the Book of the Dead from that Mummy movie.

I was just thinking, if the Oilers had started the game with an empty net and 6 skaters, the Flames may not have got as many goals in the first minute....

Man, when you say Turtles, it's difficult to tell which Oiler one is talking about, McDavid, Kane, Yamamoto, etc. All tough guys as soon as the ref steps between.
