Earl Scruggs, actually Scruggs did play with him for a bit IIRC, so that is probably wrong.

wrong and wrong - he didn't play alot of country, but was credited with bringing alot of folks to country - if that makes any sense...

let me know when you give up on this one - if I hadn't read a biography on Bill Monroe I don't think I ever would have come across that little tid bit. I thought the stoner pic might have helped...
