I can understand being amazed by a fluke but bragging about one isn't right. In my eyes the good shooters can recognize the difference between fluke and skill.

Bergerboy, I have no doubt that you will have a tons of fun at this event. it is very family orientated. Dick284 puts a huge effort into making it a superb event. I guarantee you that you will make new friends, the shooting is awesome as is the food and the campfire fun and music. We also have prize donations from suppliers such as such as the locals and big businesses like Barnes and Sierra.
And to top it all off, edmhunter will get an opportunity to show his skill at the 500 yard coyote against the best out there.

Will be attending again with the kids. Will bring something a little more practical next time. Never knew what I was getting into last time. Think I will give er a go with the 458 Socom next time. Got a pile of 500 grain FBRN bullets from Matrix. Should be able to kill a paper bunny with those. They have the BC of a watermelon, not exactly a "flat" shooting round

When you first go and you don't know what to expect it sure opens your eyes! It's a great event I was disappointed I missed it last year....hope to make it this year provided it doesn't fall the same time as a 3d Archery competition.

Usually a weekend in August...Dick284 is the organizer. The information will be posted in a thread here I would imagine.

there is no web site to speak of cowntown. Dick284 has run it for many years. Please don't **** on his parade for the lack of advertising. His got way too much on his hands as it is. If you want in, Dick will either advertise it on the forum or perhaps I can direct you into it. Dick284 has advertised this event on AO many times in the past, so it should be no secret.

You know, for the long range coyote shoot....
I'm interested in going, if not to participate, just to see the amazing shooting that'll be going on.

If you want to see amazing shooting, for the pure art of it. Forget "yotes, go to a benchrest, F class or F/tr class shoot. Watch them boys buck wind.
Careful though, this stuff is like a drug addiction.

I have never shot competitively but would really like to watch f class some time. Where do I find a list of all the scheduled shoots for this year.

?? Not sure what you mean, I had to get a duck for my small game award with the ABA...and that wasn't your moose tag that was Kevin's if I recall....
Are you trying to mock me because I killed a duck with my bow? Not a lot of folks have managed to do that
Although I am sure you have killed a unicorn with a pencil....
I guess stay classy doesn't ring a bell with you.
...Merry Christmas.
I'll accept your apology up front if you have enough class to offer one but somehow I doubt that.
