One P11 draw is back to zero, I will be chasing Ant Elk outside the base this year. Waiting on Trophy Antelope(partners have lower priority then me so it's iffy). Could be a season of firsts if i am successful on getting both draws and harvesting both species. Super excited about the elk draw.

So with the antlered Elk season inside suffield this year has the surrounding areas priority required gone down? Or any other areas for antlered Elk?

Hey Remmy, just re checked. I goofed, I was also a P12. Sorry for the mix up. My T antelope is P11, I thought both were.

Got Calf Moose and Cow Elk in 360, 212 Cow Elk first season in January, No Mulie anything (no big deal) and no turkey.

I've never been there but my buddy told me I should enter this draw.

My son and I were drawn For Suffield Elk in the base on the Jan. 11-13th season with a priority 5! A little surprised in a good way...
Rumor has it that there will be 100 hunters per 3 day season. Can anyone confirm that?

I'm betting 720 the early season outside the base still would need a 13 or better, did you put a second chose in? I got 723 the 4th season outside on a 10.. Looking forward to winter hunting around the base as the inside guy are pushing the big guys across the river..

It all depends what season you drew for, certain seasons will need a higher priority. The last season and rut season are favored and would require and likely higher priority Hope this helps explain things better.

Got my late season antlerless elk, antlerless mule deer, and 2nd choice for antlered moose (November)  .
As well I'll have a general whitetail, supp whitetail, and general antlered mulie.
And I'll be retired!!! Maybe, since I'll have more time, I'll actually get something this year.
I guess my house for sale price will less negotiable until spring!
