It's true about McDavid being in Edmonton too. If he played in Vegas, Boston, Chicago, LA, or gag  , Toronto, I think he'd be a mega-star. I don't think most NHL fans around the league have a true appreciation for what an incredible player he is.
Seeing the dumpster fire in Buffalo, and thinking about him playing there, it's hard to even imagine. He'd be truly buried, and I would have only seen him play maybe twice a year and on the nightly highlights. Perish the thought.

So you did no happy dances back when our club was was winning cups and had actual playoff results?

Well the Bettman points are real bad for a team try to chase their way into the playoffs. As for the teams above them just stay focused on being number one.
Real teams don’t need no stinkin’ Bettman points !!!!
