Flames stay healthy and markstrom steals a few games they will go deep into the playoffs.

It's almost like Nashville wants to play Colorado vs the Flames. Winning 4-0, guys if we don't do something we're playing Calgary, "no problem, we got this coach!".

I am no flames fan but they are built for the playoffs with a balanced team and goalie that can steal games. They should coast over Dallas and possibly who ever they play in the second round as well.

Stole this from another site, but this would be amazing!

"Flames Playoff Revenge Tour:

-Round 1 - DAL (Eliminated us in 2020)
-Round 2 - EDM (Eliminated us more than us them in the 80s/90s)
-Western Final - COL (Eliminated us in 2019)
-Cup Final - TBL (Stole our cup in 2004)

This would be the playoff run of my dreams.

GO FLAMES GO!"

Well, the first two should be pretty easy. Last two, I was hoping Calgary wouldn't give them a choice.

Goid thing the Ducks didn't make the playoffs or they'd be on the list too.

Understated vs the Oilers in the 80's/90's? Won 1 of 5 series if memory serves.

Happy opening night of playoffs, gents. So far so good, but was thinking the scores would be closer.
Line brawl in Leafs game. LOL Perry knows what he's doing chasing Simonds around.
Blues and Wild looks to be a great series.

Too bad the saddledome crowd is too old and wealthy to come up with a chant besides "Go flames go". Be nice to hear something / anything like Nashville's. Oh well, can't complain like the October 8 crowd, nothing like Flames playoff hockey. Go flames (go).

Alright fellas, here we go. Go Flames, just stick to the game plan.
Also keep Benn in check, he bugs me in the playoffs.

Saddledome must every seat with seatbelts, so the fans can't stand up

Definity need to keep it up, just need to watch how much edge we're playing with. Taking some bad penalties. Refs are horrible. At least it's both ways.
Need to get the next one though.

Textbook Sutter hockey there. Nice shutout for Markstrom.

I was entertained.

Well that was a little more tense than I like. Would take a bigger cushion going forward.
Holding Dallas to 16 shots is great, and some big hits, so i would say we played the game plan. Sutter should be happy.
Seeing Johnny working hard in the last 20 seconds to keep that puck hemmed in was great to see.
Now put it behind us and on to the next.

Well, I'll grant you that watching the Flames win by one with a shutout is not nearly as exciting as watching the Oilers lose by one.....but we take what we can get.

8-0, 1-0, same notch on the belt. Good game. Go flames (go).

Missed seeing the game. Still a win is excellent. Concerned about too many penalties however we won.

Better than a first game loss.

A win is a win. The Penguins/Rangers was a much more entertaining game to watch though.
