Just reading a great new article in National Geographic that gives a simple, concise explanation of what happens in your body with the newest coronovirus, and why it isn't just a "new cold or flu bug".

Certainly seems to be something happening in China they don't want to talk about;

As I'm most already suspect, the official death totals in Wuhan are just lies.
Crematorium staff from out of province are being let into Wuhan to help deal with the dead.
49 crematoriums, and supposedly they can't handle the "official" 100-150 extra bodies a day without bringing in relief staff?

I’m telling you guys the deaths aren’t from the virus. They’re covering up the murder of the democracy protesters. Nothing new from the socialists, but appalling that people want it here.

You are saying that the virus isn't killing anyone, the 100 deaths a day are all protestors.
So, This all just a deep-fake?

I know it's morbid, but does anyone know they can run co-gen off a crematorium? Does a human body require fuel to burn or once started with another 'log on the fire' as it were do they self incinerate?

Uhhh. That is a little on the morbid side. I thinks the typical North American would not require anything to keep going. Not sure with Asians as they seem to carry a lot less body fat.
After the winter I've had, I'd be like a tire fire.

No, I think there’s a real virus. But the numbers were seeing and what they’re doing don’t match up. If cremations are up it’s people who are considered a danger to the state, being rounded it up and executed under the guise of this virus. I have seen nothing medically to indicate this virus is incredibly lethal, and cremation ensures that no one ever knows the true numbers of murdered civilians.

You may want to read that National Geographic article if you aren't that worried about coronovirus.

I’ve read almost every medical journal that’s come out on it. It’s worrying, but it’s not to the point where they should need extra cremation staff. Right now for most Canadians the biggest worry should be economic. Get out of debt and stock pile cash. This could be the end of the bull run.

Yeah, pretty weird how that was set up. They are only now evacuating “healthy” older folks. And the Americans are going to get off.
It’s at about 10% of the ship’s population now. Wonder how far up it will climb unless they start evacuating people and quarantining them in a different, more reasonable way.

A couple quick points;
-The rate at which it is spread is almost twice the rate of what we consider a normal flu. Think about when we've had bad cold and flu seasons,and how many people that you new that got sick. No double that....
-Everyone fixates on the death rate, but the BIG issue is 18% of infected are severe or critical. Most won't grasp what that entails, but understand that it will probably be long term hospitalization, and for many it could lead to chronic organ failure.

Some info on past outbreaks and the markets reaction. Of course this time may be completely different than past periods.

There are a lot of you that post on here that think like this, history, even recent history, and current market behavior says you are wrong. Time will tell for sure but selling out everything and sitting in cash is a very large bet if you have a medium to large portfolio. If this is a world ending event, food and ammo will be the only mediums of exchange, money isn't worth diddly.
This isn't going to be the Zombie apocalypse and short of that the market will just brush this off. If we even see a 10% correction there is no way to definitively tie it to Corona and in any event a 10% dip isn't worth selling out to avoid.
Buy high quality, deep value stocks that pay a decent dividend and quit worrying about the short term market gyrations. It will just drive you batty and play hob with your long term returns.

Why on earth risk it?? Medium portfolio, market topping, overvalued, overbought, 30,000 Dow is a huge barrier. I'm all in bonds, losing a few months possible gains is miles ahead of waking up to a 10-20% black swan event. Not that that has happened in the last 20 years.......
