Exactly right, I didn't want to go back too far in time, or next thing we'd being hearing about the 5 cups they won over 30 years ago.

Wouldn't have really minded if Vancouver wins, keep their slim chances alive. But as they are six points back from 8th, I think they're done.

Well that game had it all. 70 or so hits, lousy reffing 50 + PIM, some pp goals, fights, more hits, injury to Saros, buzzer beater goal by Chuckie, and an OT win.
This is a great playoff preview. Wow. What a game.
It will be better when the refs put their damn whistles away.

Wasn't a high stick at all. If you watch the replay, Duchene went to grab Chucky's stick, missed, and curled it into his own face with his forearm. That spear was something else though!

Not to beat on this drum....but Vegas Lost, Dallas Wins! Dallas or Nashville get a single point or Vegas isn't perfect and they are out!
Also, watched the Dallas-Vegas shootout, did they change the rules south of the border or something? I thought Calgary shootouts were bad, oh my, I was mistaken. Think 13 of the 14 shooters basically skated in and shot from the hashmarks, didn't matter if the goalie was two feet above the blue paint.

Completely agree. That spear is worth a game.
Also agree if Saros is out for a while injured, Preds will be in a bad way.
And agree that Lucic was in Beast Mode tonight. He had a lot of impact this game. Just ask the Preds.

He hit buddy in the Nashville end so hard his helmet flew off. Wish they showed a better replay of that.
One of the things I like the best about Looch is when he fights, and the guy is down, he usually lets up.
