Uruguay being 11,000 km away, their legalizing pot is of absolutely no consequence to Canada.

In the states they do blood tests. They actually have a number, much like alcohol.

The lack of an effective means of measuring actual impairment is a hurdle that must be overcome.
This is one part I don't understand. There are piles of substances that can impair you, so what? Impaired is impaired whether or not it can be "measured". Being too tired is impaired, how would you measure that?

I know a guy who can't drink a whole beer without being falling down drunk (seriously, not exaggerating) and others that could polish off 6 or more and be fine. Measurement is subjective and only an average anyway.

And why is it that these arguements always reference the abuse to make a point. Responsible use of the "drug" is the question. Abuse of soda pop is bad for our health care system. Responsible use of opiates was the norm years ago and still is, just refined and controlled (by big pharma).

The show "WEED" last night (CNN) was pretty good. If you saw that precious little 5 year old girl who went from 300 seisures a week to 1 per week, you would quickly change your mind on the medicinal side.

A pot fight is always good entertainment. Carry on .

interesting point but seems to make sense. Are there any stats kept regarding automotive accidents on "the devils herb"

I would hazard to assume that a lot of the retard drinkers that drive often mix drugs too which would confound the results.

Tons and tons of people drive while impaired on the devils erb, yet we don't hear about them t-boning minivans with their dump trucks.

No one should drive impaired in any capacity, however certain substances pose much more acute hazards.

Pottymouth.

If our oh so brilliant masters make firearms illegal in this country. Is everyone that refuses to obey
that law a retard?

In the American prohibition era, was every drinker a retard? Following the day that prohibition was lifted they then all became non retards?

You are simply a government collaborator. A sheep to the state.

Your master says its illegal, therefore you must shame all those that disagree with the law.

If booze and smokes and guns are all illegal tomorrow. All those that use or own such things are hereby retards as so sayeth Pottymouth.

Let it be written.

When they say someone was " impaired " on the news, why do we always assume it's just alcohol?

Nice cop out.

Guess what? it was IF the day right before it was made illegal. It was IF the day right before prohibition was lifted.

Your trying to avoid these questions because they are challenging your logic. You think your opinion and hard line stance on this opinion defines you in some way, so you defend your point at all costs in order to defend your identity.

You think your opinion is so valid, somehow more poignant than all the others here? Well I want your opinion on my specific questions.

You don't live in the if, but you certainly ignore very straight forward questions.

Potty,

Do you sell a dangerous drug that kills people and destroys families for a living?

Only the guilty and ashamed complain?????

Brilliant.

My dog can put a more coherent argument together...

No complaints if they ban guns then? must be guilty or ashamed of something if you do!

How about slavery? Only guilty and ashamed slaves complain?

Rosa Parks?

Gays and Lesbians?

All hatred, abuse, prejudice, bigotry and ignorance is justified by that statement, and if you stand up against any of those aspects you are either guilty or ashamed of something!?!?

What a joke

You refuse to answer basic questions that challenge your point, and refuse to accept any notion of the other side of this argument. The fact of the matter is, weed will be legal in our lifetime whether you like it or not. Sit at home and hate the world and everyone that doesn't think like you (or sit up on your pedestal, whichever you prefer) but your type of opinion and ignorance will die out soon enough, as have all the ignorant and foolish widely held beliefs in our society. All it takes is the brainwashing to stop at an early age, and rational thought will take hold.

Your opinion is your opinion and you have a right to it. But it holds no weight among the masses any longer. It is irrelevant and meaningless to everyone but you and the small few that still think like you.

Another level of ignorance dies with every new generation.

I will leave with this:

No logical argument can be made for an act that promotes harm against another that has harmed none in return. You cannot, in any way, shape, or form justify an opinion, statement, act, law or belief that initiates force onto another.

So, you better get this through your head. Your EXACT attitude is the mirror image of the types that want to ban guns. Pro gun/anti dope is in your words, just as "retarded" as Pro dope/anti guns.

How does it feel to be on the same intelligence curve as those snarling rabid anti gunners?

I have an alarming statement for you that will completely dismantle your entire shot at me.

Are you ready?

I

don't

smoke

pot

Kinda punches a hole in your whole attitude. Never have, probably never will. Mom smoked regular tobacco, so the idea of any smoking thing just turned me off from the start.

But, your wondering, how can he then defend weed and those that use it?!?

Mind blown yet?

Now grow up and try to respond to the rest of my arguments. Your childish deflections speak volumes to your lack of intelligence.

It's an opinion !! LOL ... It has nothing to do with credibility. I didn't once bring any sources or journals or other information into it. I'm just voiced my opinion and now I'm sitting here entertaining .... because people don't like my opinion...

anti guns have nothing to do with anti drugs...that's why your not getting a response... But in your world somehow they are related, and i'm not interested in discussing it.

Anti liberty, and sociopathic desires to control other peoples lives, impressing your version of right and wrong on others has EVERYTHING to do with it!

Same beast, with many faces.

You simply cannot face this topic without challenging your own flawed moral compass.

I feel sorry for you......
