Just got home and turned the game on. Definitely not a goalie's night. Did Rittich get the hook because of soft goals or because of the team in front of him?

It's like watching a high skills pond hockey game...run and gun, defense is a fire drill with some hooks and blocked shots thrown in, and goal tending is problematic, to be kind.
But, it's kind of entertaining...

First couple he didn't have much help from the D, but 17 seconds left in the first he leta long softy in. Should have totally had. That was it.

Any given night, a goalie can have "1 of those night." The great thing for Rittich is that he is far exceeding expectations. Smith...not so much. That is kinda a theme in Alberta right now for goaltenders
