Anyway, for myself today, another damn cold, want-to-stay-inside-as-much-as-possible day, I accomplished:

Annealed, sized, trimmed and chamfered 101 6 x 47 brass, then washed them and set to dry.

Then decapped 92 260 Rem cases and threw in tumbler.

Also decapped 46 416 Barrett Brass.

Found more brass cleaning up.

Decapped, tumbled, sized, trimmed, chamfered and deburred. Tumbled again. Then primed, charged and seated pills.

27.2gr Benchmark
40gr Sierra Blitzking

no; 35 gr of imr 4198 under 350 gr round nose jacketed in bertram brass.
also tested 4 with some copper plated 350 gr as well. gun shoots pretty good and cycles nice.

got 340 dasher brass annealed then trimmed and chamfered the first hundred.

then buddy came out and zeroed his gun with drops to 500 m for his suffield elk hunt this week.

I got everything on the sunwayfoto web site. Just find the tripod legs then scroll down till you find the package deals (the web site is a bit clunky but if you dig enough you can find everything) If your a taller guy? then I would recommend the T3650CM package.

Shipping etc. the total package came to about $1000.CND. Compared to: the right stuff and recon it is a bargain. This product is based off of photography gear and they are now branching out into the hunting/long range market, the reviews I watched on utube where pretty convincing.

This has been a two year research project. Hopefully it helps you out!

Maybe a Weaver T25?

That looks like an old International.
A Malcolm , Unertl or Lyman Super targetspot is what those blocks are for and would work perfectly!

Darrell, I’ve only had the 1886 lever out to 200m so far. The 300gr bullet seems pretty accurate. I’ve actually lightened the charge weight two full grains from where I started it for this rifle. It was too much for my shoulder. (It was my bear load that I used with my Marlin GBL 18.5”.) And I still need to chrony this.

did a bunch of informal load testing today with the shotgun wit 7/8 and 1 oz loads..
All the different loads seem to break the clays well, but it was more for a sense of the felt recoil. Some were better than others, but a good result for sure

I was looking for my rangefinder box today and came across an unopened bag of 45-70 brass. Cool! It’s Winchester. I had to size a few of the cases due to dented necks. (Have I mentioned how I hate bagged brass?)

So what’s a fella to do…? Load em!
