Lots of truth there, however, the focus on being a fan should remain on the positive side,as bashing other players will not make your personal favorite a better player. I have one player that i honesty dislike, guy laflour, nothing to do with his skill, just attitude. I watched him at an intermission of a legends of hockey game as he moved children aside so he could get to the dressing room, yet lanny mcdonald stayed out and signed autographs for the entire intermission. Ones a loser ones a class act and it has nothing to do with skill or the team they play for

I can't disagree. I also don't want to watch soccer on ice. Even if I cared for the game, I couldn't watch soccer and all the diving and acting like they've been shot in order to draw a penalty. That is not something I want to see in hockey. I think divers and whiners need all the scorn we can heap on them. I am not referring to any one player, I am just glad to see the NHL singling out this behaviour with fines and more importantly public attention. It also brings this nonsense to the attention of referees who may be hesitant to make the call even if it is warranted.

I would like to see Flames take the home games and make this a series, but I don't see them winning 4 out of 5. Even when they battle back and get the go ahead goal, it gets called off. Then to loose of a puck defecting off a skate from that far out. Not getting any bounces. Plus taking dumb penalties every game. I do think they were the better team last night, bad first 2 goals aside. So maybe, we will see.
Playoffs anything can happen I guess..

If the Flames play a good game, and still lose, what am I going to say. I can't complain about it, I thought it was good playoff hockey. Sometimes you get a lucky bounce, sometimes not. But it certainly mystifies me why they just can't win in Anaheim, no matter what. Almost as mystifying that Hawks lost both at home to Preds, and last night in a most spectacular fashion....
I'd love to see the Flames win the series, but I can't even hope that hard.

I met Lafleur 2x and had no problem getting an autograph and a handshake. Ran into him a day before a legends game and had a beer with him and Shutt in Saskatoon !! Far from a loser, you actually sound a little jealous !!!

I'll bet money it's Rick Ball , Kelly Hrudy and John Garret ... All of them shud see the exit door .... enuf .. Hrudy is the F bomb foul mouth ..

edit.... turn on your TV quick; there's Hrudey sitting between Friedman and Kypreos in his usual spot on the panel.

Not at all, what would I be jealous of. He moved kids out of his way with his gloved hand. I saw it. My wife saw it. Only judging based on what I personally saw. Nothing else.not judging his skill as a player or his professional accomplishments. Just what I saw. Also have no need to question what you saw. My experience was different then yours is all

Ya see,, that's the difference,,,, I wasn't aware there is an argument. If you are then it's an argument with yourself cuz there is only one person involved. I'm judging no one on their ability to play hockey. I have a level 4 coaching cert and it's still not my place to judge those who have achieved what I didn't unless I'm professionally involved, which I'm not. Emotions are for real issues that effect me personally, and someone who does not perform to your expectations has no form of ownership to me in any way. You know there's people who believe wrestling is real. You still a hulk hogan fan?
