Looking to do some Pike/walleye fishing but cant drive until this august. Anyone living close to sherwood park that would be intersted in having a Fishing/Hunting buddie just shoot me a tell. 24 years old. not that it matters.

Default New in town

Hi, I just moved to Edmonton and am looking for a place within a few hours of town where I could try my luck fly fishing for in a stream/river/lake. Let mw know if you have any great tips or if you need some company, I'm far from being an expert fisherman but really enjoy going out and trying my luck!

I'm located in calgary, will travel any direction up to 3hrs.

I will fish for anything and have the gear to do so.

If you have a reliable boat of any kind AND can operate it responsibly i am more than happy to help cover the fuel costs, and any other necessities.

I PREFER mid week fishing but will get out on weekends too. Mornings are a little tough right now as i have ongoing physio therapy appointments, but with notice arrangements can be made.

I'm 32 years old and love to fish, i'm fun loving but responsible and respectful, i'm into sports and i hava sense of humer. I'm trained in first aid and i'm well read.

target I will keep general at trout, a wide variety in the area's I enjoy fishing. Most likely cutts/bulls/whitefish - depending on stream levels though, could be after a wide variety of trout species

Hi All,

I am going to try Policeman flats on the fly tonight. I am new to town but I hear it is a good spot. If anybody cares to join me, I will be there around 7 or 730.

Cheers,

Simon

Hi, I am looking for someone who would be willing to teach some methods and such for perch, trout and whitefish. All my fishing experience came from living on the coast and was years ago now. Have had luck with Pike but I enjoy bringing fish home for the family, and no one seems to enjoy eating pike. Have an inflatable boat and my own gear. Would also be willing to drive. I am on the west end of Edmonton and go fishing almost every weekend. I like long trips and am also interest in night fishing for burbot. PM me if willing.

This is also my first 1 maybe 2 months fishing in the area, so I'm still looking for a good trout spot myself. Been able to catch a few 12-14inchers out of muir lake, but the other spots I've been to have been smaller ~8inches. Muir is also weeeedy! haha. I've only ventured within an hour or so from the city so far (edmonton). What you need to do with the pike is fish and chips. Fry up the pike with pancake batter and 7up. mmmm. I'm constantly on the hunt for larger trout in the area, so if you've found a gem of a spot, I'd ask that you shoot me a pm... I'll repay the favor by doing the same. If I do find a good one, I'll take you out. Ttyl!

P.S. I heard daysland is a goody, but haven't been out yet to confirm.
