Thats selfish and disrespectful.

Bob taught me to choose the longest route and do it naked & barefoot.

He has lots of great videos of it, I'm still not sure why he tapes it, he says its for his "private reflection time" and I'm ok with that. I'll be honest, it's awkward when he smears the blood in the places he does but he says it gives me a deeper connection with the animal. He's right about the deep part...

Lots of time for self reflection when the truck is a mile and half away and the sunset 15 minutes ago. Also you would be shedding clothes along the way as it is a good method for an individual self sauna.

My alter ego mentions this to me as well. My last deer was about 60 yards from my tractor so that was the easiest retrieval that I have ever done. No sweating or swearing. Went fromt the loader to my animal hanger.

I am waiting for the parody video for when somebody orders a steak at the Keg and when it arrives they laugh and high five and admire its qualities....

Or bride at a wedding high fiving and laughing about the trophy when the deed is done!....

I think to my self...damn I should've waited for just another minute. There was probably a bigger one waiting at the tree line.

I totaly agree. When I make a cleans kill on an animal I get very exited. After so much hard work how couldn't you? Its not disrespectful at all in my in my opinion.

I am not much of a high fiver I am mostly thinking how long the drag will be too, just because it's not my style , does not make it wrong in any way.

There does seem to be some over acting on the hunting shows. And the way Stan Potts from North American whitetail creams his camo is just creepy.

I smile inside because I've been allowed to harvest the animal and I enjoy what I will take from it.

See that one show about that guide in alaska i think who was laughing about getting trichinosis?

Talking Moose:

You are behind the times. Yuppies are passé.

The current term is "metrosexual". These guys love to compare their nails with the girls at work in the morning. Meow.

Old Greylynx Sez: Man-up you Nancy Drew girly boys.

Or get out of the sport.

OP: have you ever left your TV and went hunting like the real men do on this forum?

Just to be clear, you're hoping a vocal atheist will take your bait and chime in, to start a derail and take the heat off of your idiocy in this steaming pile of a thread?

Bugger off!

If I high five a buddy it has nothing to do with disrespect. It means I am excited and happy.

I get a rush from the total culmination of events. The day I don't is the day I quit.

Mind your business and don't tell me or any one else how to live our lives.

Default Well that is enough of that

The day I cannot celebrate and congratulate my friends and family for a successful harvest is the day I hang up my rifle.

This thread has run its course.
