Love hunting bears with a good axe myself too
I'm sure there's a reason for the 10 lb axe . would be interested in knowing the use as to pack it along for spot n stalk BB

great backdrops

That’s a 5lb axe made to use. In other words it has a useable handle. You can do twice the job with a 5lb axe and a 32” handle than a 10lb axe and a 26” handle.

It’s along to clear trails. And it got used.

So you are accusing me of poaching because we carry an axe? See ya.

Hey, just a suggestion here Rio, but maybe get a tape measure and meet up with Chuck offline, you seem to have an issue. It gets old reading your Richard Noggin posts.

Chuck, that's a nice bear your daughter got, congrats to her.

For the second time. It’s for clearing trails if needed. Winter is hard on timber.

I don’t think have you have to explain anything. My comment was a joke in line of hunting bear with an axe instead of a rifle. Just wanted to make it clear that I didn’t imply anything malicious, lol.

Good luck hunting and post pics with a good one.

Edit: Went for a walk myself, but only saw a couple of elk and mule deer. One bull was on the other side of the river:

Well after baiting 3 sites and a good one on cam. My 12yr old settled in for a sit with the trusty xbow. Tipped with a double bladed truglo it wouldnt be long before Byron says"bear".
Kinsey wanted a cub killer and nothing but a big one to beat her two brothers. With 8 bears wooding circling and climbing. The Kinzer Bear made an appearance. Byron hit record, Kinsey settled the crosshairs and let it rip. Bear made it 200yds. But with my little angel in tow we backed out and made a safer morning recovery. She had basketball in Innisfail so Byron to the rescue and off we went to haul him home.
So proud of her. My hunting career has pinnacled. This was it. Such a vast array of emotions. Atta girl Kinz.

Good luck everyone.

Very thankful to be apart of the adventure this year! She was a pro! After a mid April 5 hour sit with no bear activity to settle in last night for 3 hours before the woods became alive!! What a chaotic night in the bear woods! A whirlwind of emotions and a memory and mount to come to last a life time!

Love that forehead crease, Reddeerhunter! Congratulations to your daughter! The girls are killing it this year.

Can't wait for my turn to head out to the woods. Still love going with my boys, and at least one memorable trip with my good friend V45 Sabre!

What's with the axe? LOL, joking.

Ticks are the one thing that sucks about spring bear spot and stalk.....Every other part of it is great. Getting behind the glass again after months off, awesome.
Good luck out there.
