2016 Archery Harvest Thread....post your pics!
Got this guy on the 3rd the first and only day I've been out so far this year. First bull elk I've ever shot. So excited I was able to get him with my bow. Couldn't of done it without the help from my girlfriend. We were out looking for a Muley and came across him. Got the wind right and did a quick stalk got Mel to go a couple hundred yards up wind to get there attention. They stood up and walked into the opening. I let fly at 55 yards quartering away. The rest is history!! [IMG]http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/

What an awesome thread, congrats to all the successful hunters!
Pikefisher 1818, I'm glad you stuck with it and were able to put the bull down.

Have really enjoyed reading this thread. Congrats to all of you who have harvested an animal with your bow this year and good luck to those of you still trying. Family commitments have kept me from doing much fishing or hunting this spring, summer and fall, but I do enjoy pics and stories from the rest of you guys and gals.

Was lucky to call this guy to 26 yards on September 11th. Got turned around in the bush and figured out he was less then 100 yards from where I killed my 2014 bull.
Congrates to all the lucky hunters and best of luck to the guys still in the field.

Peace river was a bust. Screwed up my opportunity at a bull at 8 yards. Guess you could say I got caught with my pants down lol.
Going for a solo moose hunt Friday.
