Oct 15 2015. My meat bull.

Got him with my 6.5 Creedmoor shooting 120gr GMX. He took three steps and tipped right over. Recovered bullet and it weighed 115gr.

Cheers

Curious as to which wmu you were hunting in.
We hunted 349 for moose, same problem with wolves there too!

45 inch bull shot at 80 yards. Shot was head on with my 375 Ruger. Found the bullet in the hips after traveling almost 6 feet lengthwise through the bull. 250 grain TTSX weight 248.1 after being recovered and measures .640 across.

I will be the first to admit that this gun is really not necessary for pretty much anything in Alberta and I have killed moose with a 270 and a 12 gauge slug but sometimes big guns are just fun.

Recovered a bullet out of my moose butchering him yesterday.
150 gr federal fusion out of a xbolt 7mmWSM. Bullet weighs 110 grains now for a 40 grain loss. At least it never separated. went through both shoulder blades and got caught in the hide on the opposite side. 50yd shot.

They said he looked like a giant alaska yukon bull. Never saw him but he filled my dreams. On the last day of the season I was still trying to get him, 4 chains on the truck snow 1/2 way up the hood just to get back to his neighbourhood 1 more time...... Never punched the tag
If I did I would have been smiling like you, great bull. Congrates

We don't have any for this year😢😡.

Oh well at least we took out one wolf.

Good thing 4 of us from moose camp have cow elk tags . Should be able to get them in early December on my land or my bro- inlaw's. Good thing is we have 9 families to split the meat up for.
