Just the frasier open around here for streams/rivers. Got about a 3 week window before the water starts to cloud.

Yeah, it definitely wouldn't hurt to ask again.

I would venture to say that in your case you'll see better overall performance from premium, but whether or not that's worth the added cost, I don't know.

I'm looking forward to open water season alot, but probably won't get to hit it until mid summer. My brother just bought a place in Cochrane so we're planning a trip down there this summer or fall. I'm looking forward to fishing the Bow, never had the chance before.

A buddy of mine wants me to go walleye fishing with him this year, but I'm trying to think up an excuse not to go. LOL. I have less than zero interest in walleye, couldn't give two craps about them. Maybe I can find a lake where he can reel in boring little fish and I can fly fish for pike with top water flies.

Well can hope for the best with the premium if I find the right station. Can't buy an upgrade to a four stroke. Guberment seems to find a way to take my fun money Anybody with suggestions on stations without ethanol? Calgary NE

Leave next Thursday for the coast. A couple stops along the way and we’ll be in Comox on April 3. I’ve got new wading boots, waders, and an 8wt saltwater set up. Will also bring my 5 wt. looking forward to it. We have a cabin on the beach about 20 minutes north of Comox. Can’t wait!

I recently picked up a "New to me" open bow boat. I'm hastily moving things off my old boat, onto the new one before I sell it. I can't stop thinking about open water!!! Can't wait to get it out for a rip.

I’m headed out tomorrow for some Athabasca bull trouts.
First open water day last year was a blast. Hopefully they grew a little.

Soft plastic swimbaits are a new venture for me and will basically cut out the last lures I commonly buy commercially. Still need to order a mold for ribbon tails I use on my jerk baits. Odds are I won’t stop there lol

I still have a few more things in the works. 7 inch thin profile lipless soft tail jerk bait and umm something I don’t even know what to label it as but it’s noisy, flashy and with plenty of action are what I am working on now

Also a 11inch display lure someone requested
