Dropped off the Zoolanders today.
If you have seen the movie, you could probably guess why the fly got that name. Not a traditional pattern but it has been a go to for times when nothing else seemed to work.

Crawad: Thanks again for organizing the swap.
Would have been nice if everyone had put a tag on their input, now we're left guessing on more than half.
Also would be great if the dirty dozen provided some feedback later on, e.g., in May/June, on how the flies worked.

These two were from me, and as I mentioned in my original post I was sorry I did not include the toe tags.

Very good, now I've got 9 out of 12. I just like to keep an account of fly tying and fishing events in a diary, so not too many years from now, well hopefully many, when too old and decrepit I'll be able to remember and write the great fishing book.

These are indeed some nice looking flies!!
I was thinking about the proposed pike fly swap, and if there's more than 5 people interested in joining perhaps we could have groups of 5 or whatever amount is reasonable for postage and given that making large flies is more time consuming and expensive?... Just a suggestion.. But I make some killer Poppers for spring fishing and would be willing to partake in a pike swap.

Hey fellow fly tyres , great work they all look awesome, my pattern is an experiment, the fly is tied inverted and is intended to be fished on a floating line using a washing line of thee flies and in the middle , I added some "gink " to the gills and upper part of the fly and tied in using a Davy knot so that the fly mimics a fluttering pupae , an idea I was put on to at the fly tying course I just attended in January.
Going luck, let me know if it works .
Bob
