He may be smart in regards to knowing how to leave creditors on the hook for his poor business practices while keeping his personal wealth intact and separated, but that does not make him a good business man in regards to effectively running a responsible and ethical company. It just means he knows how to be crooked to everyone around him while not taking on the responsibility personally...
Is that what makes a good president? Maybe, I guess... It isn't something that deserves respect though...

Sounds like it parallels the qualifications of the NDP MLAs without the money.
How bad is the socialist president Obama that Trump may actually take a run at the presidency.

Trump might be a bit eccentric and strange maybe, and he might not be the guy but when a business is in dire financial condition like the USA. It needs a BUSINESS MAN, not a politician.
Bankruptcy is a business strategy that happens all the time in business. Trump more than likely owns lots of companies. Maybe that's what the USA needs to get itself straightened out fiscally ???
The LAST thing the USA needs is another politician.

Bankruptcy is a business strategy for avoiding paying ones bills legally. Does that make it right? Especially revolting when the owner of said companies has personally pocketed billions and can keep it for himself while bailing on the people he took money from and didn't pay back...

Would the Donald have given the Trillions of taxpayer dollars to GM, Chrysler, Fanny May, Sachs and other large New York Banks that their puppet Obama did?
I don't think so.
Yet you are the same people that complain about big corporations, big banks etc.
Don't you think that is being hypocritical?

I'm partial to Santorum(sp?) myself.
I dont believe dynasties have any place in democracies or republics. Bush's have been attached to the government teet for 3 generations that I'm aware of.

I'm liking Scott Walker so far.
Trump has some appeal to the "sick of the politician" crowd...I put him in the same realm as Jesse Ventura. He's entertaining to listen to, in a train wreck kind of way. He'll jump out well before he has to reveal his finances...
I actually have a lot of respect for Bernie Sanders, who is an out and out socialist. But at least he freely admits it, and doesn't try and dodge questions or obfuscate and triangulate. He's not in it just for a power grab. Probably one of the more honest politicians around. If I was a democrat (puke), I'd vote for him way before I'd lower myself to voting for Clinton.

Please post your source of information on this please ?
I never said bankruptcy was right, just that it's a business strategy . The USA IS BANKRUPT NOW. What if an entity bought a business that was on the verge of bankruptcy. Filed for Bankruptcy and continued and grew the company and saved a whole lot of jobs in the process ?? Would it be ok then ? It happens all the time in big business.

My source on what? That Trump companies have claimed corporate bankruptcy 4 times or that he is personally worth billions? I think those facts are pretty uncontested. As these are uncontested it is a fair statement to say that he has personally profited billions while claiming bankruptcy for his companies, keeping his personal fortune intact. How is this contestable?
*edit for addition*
Look... I am not saying he didn't play within the legalities allowed him by law. Only saying it isn't worthy of respect in my eyes. I respect the businessman who chooses to cover his debts rather than leave them on his creditors...

Hey Oki, What did you say about Ronald Reagan?
At least I brought up some facts of what Trump would have done in the last depression the U.S is still going through.

Have you seen his bankruptcy statements and the reasons he filed?
How would you know who or if he owed.
You dont know the circumstances.
You can file for bankruptcy because you are owed too
That I do know.....how?......because I did it
And changing corporate names and its president is common practice.
Some people get sucked into believing it takes 7yrs to get your credit cleared too. This is also false.
There are some crafty legal folks out there ya know
But enough of this.....Go Trump.....Gitrdun !!!!! Lol

After telling the world McCain was "no hero" because he was captured for his contribution and service of his country he just proves himself to be a moron who should think before he acts or speaks.
The guy is a complete conceited, ignorant moron.
Sounds like a perfect candidate for 'Merica

Trump keeps proving that he appeals to the lowest common denominator. It is that the lowest common denominator that are his greatest fans.

I respectfully disagree with your perspective sir. Trump is appealing to the Silent Majority.
I predict that Trump becomes the next President of the US of A and it's about time they had a President with a brain and that was not a career politician!
GO TRUMP GO!

McCain looking for an apology may just get the MSM digging into his dirty laundry.
How many propaganda films did he make for the NVM? Any idea what the other POWs have to say about Johnny?

Something I have been learning as of late (most of this from Veterans Today):
33 POWs faced execution for treason after Vietnam until Nixon pardoned all POWs. McCain was on the list of the 33, in fact at the head of it.
Here are the facts as we know them:
- According to Colonel Ted Guy, John McCain’s commander as a POW, McCain collaborated with the enemy.
- McCain is accused of giving information that led to the downing of 60 US aircraft
- McCain is accused of training North Vietnamese air defense personnel
- McCain is accused of making over 30 propaganda broadcasts against the US, broadcasts he moved to have classified when he was elected to the senate
These 4 accusations are the only real and supportable accusations against McCain. The evidence for these acts exists and is substantial. What is stranger still is McCain’s longtime war against veterans, other POWs and their families.
That said, the Obama campaign itself targeted McCain in 2008, saying much the same thing - that McCain is no war hero.
Wesley Clark (comments were approved my Obama campaign) -
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/06/29/clark.mccain/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=117&v=NZp8sEqQAIo
And, a caveat, please. My hat is off to all those who serve. However, that fact alone does not give someone carte blanche to act like an @sshat, which McCain HAS, especially in the last number of years voting against veterans, POWs, and the military itself... the last vote was FOR a reduction in veteran benefits.
