I'm a De Walt guy myself, they've stopped making 18 v batteries but you can buy an adapter to use the new "20v" batteries, I'm still trying to figure that out. Whatever you chose, best stick with that brand or keeping up with batteries will drive you nuts.
you'll get something heavy and oversized, and expensive. you'll buy the adapter, then you still need the new style batteries.
ridgid combo cordless is a good deal, i've got one combo set in brushless, but not sold on them. they will have improve the durability, i've replaced one drill within 12 months. Ridgid has been good for my uses, just cautious on the brushless.
