They have Eberle signed up 6yrs. Hall signed for 7yrs. Nuge for another 2yrs till RFA. Yakupov 3yrs till RFA. J. Schultz 2yrs till RFA.
Seems to be fine now. Pretty sure they will be fine.

They will, oh and your wrong on that point because Hall ands Eberle are locked up for 6 years and with Horcoff and krappybulin off the books after next year they'll have plenty of cash to lock the rest up...

love hitting Flames forums and watching them implode when they lose and although they say Edm is nothing they have twenty pg threads about everything they do..lol Calgarians have fragile sports egos

Drunken Finn whatever, gotta say I've missed this. Oiler and Flames fans once again toe to toe trash talking each other on their computers. I miss the old "battle of Alberta" hope we'll see it heat up a bit this year

Why did you guys get a team slapped together to compete?
Say what you want about Kiprusoff, He is one of the best goalies in the league and is why we are always in contention for a playoff spot, any team that has him becomes a contender.

No argument there, without him the last 5 or 6 years the Flames would have been picking 1st overall. It'll be fun to see how the season plays out, my Oilers will need stellar goaltending to make the playoffs without question. The West is tough, alot has to go right for either team to make it, but that's why they play the games...even if it's just 48

I kinda like silencing nucks fans more LoL
I just pity flames fans as they seem to be wallowing in the same state of bad management that my leafs are.

I watched both games Calgary was flying in the first, just never got the bounces.
The Oil were lucky to come away with a win, it looked like Duby was relaxed in net. But the young guns seemed to be just trying too hard to make something happen. This was real noticeable in OT . They were running around trying to force plays, I kinda laughed and related it back to retrievers. Get a young new dog in the blind for a first hunt, even with all the practice he knows its game time now, shaking and shivering with anticipation . When the first birds come in and the shooting stops you send him out, and he just runs all over hell not sure what to do... That's the young Oilers I was happy they beat the Nucks, but I see some growing pains yet this year.

Ha, it's so great being a Habs fan because no matter what anybody says against them I know that their team will never have this many Stanley Cups.

Stolen from twitter;
"Pretty smart of the Flames to bring in a coach that was good 10 years ago, that way he will relate to all the 'star' players."

I'd rather watch "say yes to the dress" than see the flames play.
More excitement on that show.
