maybe in the long run we are just in the process of losing the "lead" bullit

All of the talk and debate are moot points in how well a certain brand of bullet "kills" compared to another. There is absolutley no way to quantify the results. Dead is dead. "Bang flop" or "he travelled 100 yards". Happens with every bullet, hunting calibers, all different situations and species.

Way more important to find an accurate load, paractice in field conditions so you can hit'em where you aim.

Very good point LongDraw. I think way too many people read too much into "bang-flop" kills. An animal that is dropped on the spot due to a lucky spine shot is a lot less dead than one that runs a 100yds with its heart and/or lungs in tatters.

Myself, I'm not sure about the fail safe, but it may have been just too expensive for the sales it reflected....
