Default Jambalaya Night

Making the stock for Jambalaya with chicken bones, shrimp shells, Jalapeno ends and Turkey Kielbasa skins.

Damn. Last time I had that was in Hustle town a few years ago. Those buttermilk biscuits are heavenly. When you eat them fresh they just melt in your mouth.

Having a deer based borscht with fried (frozen wild) mushrooms and potatoes gave me a distraction from outlook on life. Wish I could cook them on a firewood fed stove, just on a principle basis too .
PS. And I know how to grow my potatoes and carrots too, ask KGB, we, "born in the USSR" all know that

Baked Speckle belly goose breast in a wine and brandy sauce, done to a perfect MR...melt in your mouth... and a few Crown Royals, some ice is luckier then others







Venison meatloaf with backed whip potatoes and a turnip and carrot crumb dish..

Jambalaya with Home smoked Turkey Kielbasa, Chicken, Turkey , Shrimp and Spicy Tasso

And a nice bottle of Merlot for the Chef which seems to work well with the Old Bay Seasoning.
