AUCTION #7

This will go until Saturday 8:00 PM
Let's go $50 increments please

From Arachnodisiac;

Not sure what kind of pictures I can do for the book concept, but I would value that at $1,000 based on ten hours labour.

I won't pay for the book, because they probably would want more than one, and it would depend how many photos they had etc, but I would help them put it together and what not.

The snake trip, here are a few pics, and I would value that at $600.

1. Up for grabs, one professionally-written short story about a specific hunt or fishing trip near and dear to your heart based on an interview with you, and any others you wish to include in the creative process. Ideas might include your child's first successful hunt, your first archery hunt, or any other moments as an outdoorsman/woman you love to reflect on.
Once complete, you may choose to use a self-publishing company to make permanent keepsakes of your story, with any relevant photos. (I can help with that portion of the process.)

2. A guided two-day trip for up to three people to observe and photograph some of Alberta's rarest critters. Target species include prairie rattlesnakes, black widow spiders, scorpions, as well as bull and garter snakes.
Trip includes meals, (red)wine, campground fees, transportation from Lethbridge, Calgary or Medicine Hat, as well as high-quality digital photo files from the trip, including the people and animals involved. Excursion would most likely take place in June or July with scheduling to be determined as the time approaches, but weekdays and weekends are both possible.
*No minors permitted due to safety reasons, and must be reasonably physically fit.

Default cast pans

So my wife has really been talking alot about cast iron cooking lately, she has been wanting to start a collection so I guess the timing is perfect. I will start it off at $150.00 if that is not an insult.

Not an insult at all...

There's about 22 pounds of cast I believe, so it's going to have to go AO express somehow...

AUCTION ITEM #5

Cast iron pieces
are ready to go... Waffle iron was a PITA to say the least. It's not seasoned, just coated in a light layer of grapeseed oil to keep the rust away. I can season it if whomever buys it wants it to be. And there's more pics available if need be. Griswold pics are forthcoming. They are not perfect, but are in overall good shape. Prefer if they go via AO express, they are pretty heavy and bulky.

"in my best Kelly Shreenan Auctioneer voice";

This lot of antique cars....err pans is the best, cleanest unit we have ever seen, we drove them around all weeken.....err I mean we made pancakes and waffles and eggs and bacon and hashbrowns all week and they were hands down the best we have ever had, what do you say, this has to be worth $12,000.00

Let's get er going, $5000, $2500, $1000, $500, you tell me whatyouwannapay......

(please do not quote this one, just say 'I wanna go $700 on the pans'

This auction will end Friday 8:00 PM

Griswold griddle, approx 70 - 80 years old. Sits flat, zero warpage. Nice pan, not seasoned.

Base: Number 9 size, sorry I don't have a ruler. There are a couple of marks in the pan, seems to be casting mistakes.

Wagner waffle iron - "pat'd date July 26, 1892."
You can look it up online, it's over 100 years old, but the number 8 was the most common model. They are not an expensive waffle iron. There is some pitting due to surface rust - this thing took hours to clean. It's not seasoned, been rubbed with some grapeseed oil to keep out the rust.

there is a chip in the base

Newer (used) wagner square skillet. Seems to have a good straight base, it's been stripped to bare metal and reseasoned.

Lodge Skillet - 8SK - newer and used, good straight base. Stripped to bare metal and reseasoned.

I would like to bid $200 please.

I thank You. I think it will be really cool to hunt for those critters in their native haunts. I look forward to it. I will be in touch again closer to spring.

Ken, I think I have won two auctions. The critter hunt from Arachodisiac and a Northern Pike from Jungleboy. Can you send me the info on how/where I pay?

Thanks
and Thank You to Arachno and Jungleboy for their contributions.
