One thing I’ll say about the flames..... never count them out of a game.. I’ve counted them out twice now this year and tuned in later to see them come back for a win. Last year gained the rep as a third period team. Continuing the trend this year.

I think Tkachuk is claiming his stake as THE best player on the team. Oh that Columbus would have taken Puljujarvi

He brings more to the table than Johnny. Johnny brings pretty plays. MT brings as much offence but provides grit, aggravation, and more in the tool box.

If they were both to sign contracts today I give mt 1 to 1 1/2 million more than jg just for what he offers the team.

I do like how honest Bill Peters is.
Seems there might be some "Changes" coming up.
He recognizes this could be a good team but we are just sputtering along. Still being a playoff team (Barely) but this is way to good of a core group for that to be a goal.
I wonder what he has up his sleeve? https://www.facebook.com/NHLFlames/v...I4MDY4NjA0MDk/

I like Peters, I like how he tells whats up, not these boxed answers some coaches come up with. He shouldn't be happy with what we have going on, yeah we are not bottom of the standings but could be playing WAY better, specially with what they can do.
Today was to be a day off but the boys are at teh dome Working on it. Good drive em.

"The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas filed a lawsuit Monday in Clark County District Court alleging San Jose Sharks forward Evander Kane failed to pay back $500,000 in gambling markers the casino extended to him in April."
Now the funny part: "The date would have fallen between Games 3 and 4 of the first round playoff series between the Sharks and the Vegas Golden Knights."
I know it's his job, but does it seem slightly off that a player is at the casino gambling away hundreds of thousands of dollars between playoff games?

Evander Kane, that paragon of virtue and modest living, not to mention charm and wit...?? Well, color me shocked! To be gambling during playoffs, lose, and then not pay off markers?? Shocked I say!

Yup, par for the course for that clown based on some of his past exploits.

Kylington sent down, Davidson called up. Wonder what’s up with this?

Was hearing Stone may be back in line up. Peters not happy with the way they are playing, so sending messages, mixing things up. Not surprised.

Woohoo, Brad figured out how to win the Neal-Looch trade. The Oil actually play Neal and Looch is out of the lineup due to suspension!

Jersey opens scoring with a nice goal from Hughes. Flames playing from behind so now we have a game in progress....

Suckers, we've got them right where we want them, getting outshot, losing, heading into the 2nd.

Exactly. This strategy just keeps on making exciting games. Lure the opponent into a false sense of security, the old rope a dope, and hope like hell Chuckie can pull it out of the fire.
What a strategy. Again.

Looch has 3 chances on net so far...that's more than Johnny and Monahan combined at this point I think.
But oh my! What a beauty goal from Ryan, to split the D and put it in top shelf on the back hand. That was a nice move there...sweet. Tie game.

We need a strong third period now. We can’t just protect the lead

Much better period, and the pp seems to be working. Nice to see Hanifin with a goal and pair of assists tonight, he has been a great addition to the team.

I like him as well. Wasn't sure about him in OT there a couple times. Like he stopped skating. The outdoor game and couple games ago.

Not Flames but just got a notification on my phone. Aves scored 6 goals in 8 minutes. Dang.
Will need to check them highlights out.

Much better game. Blues will be tough for sure but effort like that will make it interesting. So who gets net? Rittich playing well but playing so many games. Needs a break?

They are working on making it easier for us though. Tarasenko and Steen will both be out.
