Thanks very much S55.....my best wishes you have a successful event also

just a point of interest......This event is not a derby....this is a gathering event for Children to be given a oppurtunity at a sport that is not readily available to them. Every child will take home the teho 90 ice outfits and recieve a [participation award. No prizes will be awarded as per a competition.
A derby requires very different permits than what this event has applied for and recieved.

Just goto bed before we find you in the parking lot, without your mind, trying to cut a hole in the small patch of black ice thinking you saw a big walter swim under it.

Add me to the 6am team, Chubb.
Sorry about missing your call today. I put the dang phone right beside me, so I wouldn't miss it while I was working on a project. Didn't help, as the ringer had somehow gotten turned off. If you can find time tomorrow, call my cell...

anthony5ès post got me thinking beyond his very generous post.

This event is really going to be a mental and physical body drain. No sleep prior due to prep and excitement. Then a military style agenda of events.....its go go go till we watch the tail lights on the bus leave. Then we still have 2 hours work to clean up and tear down.

Im worried how safe the drive home will be for everyone. especially thiose travelling alone.
All i can suggest for those travelling alone. I have a few spots left on the volunteer program. If you can find a friend to make the trip with you that would make your trip home much safer. If your friend wants to help- great, if not thats fine too. If they want to help but dont fish they can do other volunteer work thats greatly appreciated. If they just want to hang out and drink coffee and eat hot dogs...Thats perfectly okay.
I will accomodate allmost anything to make sure each and everyone of you gets home safe. Any accident at this event will not make any of it worth anything in the end.
They must be 18 years old is my only restriction.
So dont be a hero and sign a friend if you want.....in fact you people travelling alone...I WOULD PREFER YOU DID.

THANK YOU.

Dago depending on the weather...even if we get the area border marked off and drill the holes the day before it would be a huge benefit. But depending on the forecast the holes drilled , the border taped off and the TWH tent up would be sweet the day before.

just chip holes open next am , fish will have time to settle in....if its too cold its not worth it though.

Mikeo is bringing a bbq too. Thanks for bringing one Dago.
one more bbg and i think we are good to go.

i can be there friday, Mikeo is pretty sure he can

Dago what time are you thinking of starting friday?

My only concern might be the other fisherman that might be affected by our activity.

PCR seems to be a lake that alot of people show up late to fish and fish into the night, so i quess its maybe best all those fisherman know the circus is in town for Saturday. So i really like the idea we are there friday to at least give people warning whats happening Saturday.

thanks
